Edgewater CM 65 -- 2:52pm (dark) - 7:52pm OR 3:14am to sunrise for late tide

Oak Hill - 4:22pm (dark) to 10:22pm OR 4:44am to sunrise for late tide

Lopez Area [Cm 7 & South Of ] -- 5:22pm to 11:22pm

Comments: CM 7, CM 8, CM 9 and CM 9A will gain you the extra hour of dip

Ponce -- 11:00 am --> Tide starts to go out

Edgewater Ramp -- dark shrimp to 8:27pm OR 1:44am to sunrise

Edgewater CM 65 -- 3:30pm (dark) shrimp to 9:30pm

Oak Hill - 5:00pm (dark) shrimp to 10:00pm

Lopez Area [Cm 7 & South Of ] -- 6:00pm-12midnight

Comments: CM 7, CM 8, CM 9 and CM 9A will gain you the extra hour of dip time, South RB ramp.

Am I reading something wrong ? The tide chart shows the tide starting to go out in EW @ 9:10 p.m. , but the daily dashboard shows dipping times for Sat. night to be from 2:37 p.m. to 8:37 . Is the tide chart showing what time the low tide starts to go out or when it will become a dead tide at the end of a low tide.

EDIT: I'm back..... So, let me try to answer your question.... and make sure I didn't "goof" ...

I went over to the tide chart I used for reference... same one Capt Lee uses, and the one with the adjustments that Terry posted (TY Terry)

Referring to the Yellow column which is EW...

9:10pm.... is listed as the LOW tide.... when it should be absolutely a dead tide..... You want to dip shrimp on the outgoing tide.... from the time it says it's HIGH to the low.

You can estimate about 6 hours to shrimp on each tide..... when I posted the dashboard times, I just estimated about 6 hours from the beginning of the tide of shrimp time. I think Capt Lee did it like this too. Of course, you can always stay later, and believe it or not, some people have stayed and caught some shrimp on the incoming also.... and the dead slack tide, tho it's not "the way we do it" .... we always get our best catches on the outgoing tide. These times are all just estimates or guesstimates too..... things like the wind and the moon, and other weather can also affect the time the tide will change direction..... I hope this helps :)

Thanks for clearing this up I was Zigging when I should have been Zagging. I was assuming that the time posted on the tide chart was when the tide would START to change but that is when the tide ends. So the chart and dashboard did match. Thanks for clearing this up.

Welp, as much as I personally dislike north winds, it's just the way they blow my little boat.... I'm gonna give it a shot tonight.... winds have kinda died down over here, little breeze now n then, but not lookin' "too" bad..... my lights are fixed.... early tide, gonna start out around my place since the guys are goin to pick me up some gas (they just wanna eat the shrimp lol) ... what the heck why not go? Anyone else goin?

Not necessarily.... you had a strong North wind last night.... north winds can do that to tides.... we can only predict what we guess the tide to be. Just as if there were a strong South wind... the tide could be extended longer.

I'm using the exact same charts Lee uses... spoke w/her to confirm it.... trying my best here..... I could've offered an alternative "LilMissShrimper Tides" ... coming off of my computer tide charts.... they run about the same as Lee's tho... so it's kinda redundant to do that, so I didn't to avoid confusion.
