Fished Lot #1A north for two hours this morning from daybreak on the last two hours of incoming tide. Large surf running, 4'+, moderate current from the south, clear water and calm wind. Tide was running extremely high and was washing the old seaweed from last month's storm back into the surf. Caught nine whiting and three pomps. Released two pomps that were borderline. Used some nasty, slimy clams but most caught on peeled shrimp. The large whiting went 17".
