I still have this unlimited supply in my backyard and really nowhere to use them since I don't have a boat. Would it be worthwhile to drag them down to the beach? Thanks.

Posts: 2656 12/31/11 09:30 PM S.E. Fla. Regional Coordinator - 1 Limits 2011	Have used mud minnows in the surf for flounder with good results. I have also used them for reds in the surf and inlets. I've seen them used for trout and blues too. Happy New Year to you too! Boca Raton FL

Capt's Pet Posts: 235 01/05/12 08:16 PM - 10 Limits 2011	The guys I know that fish the beach in Canaveral have been averaging a slot red every third trip on sand fleas. They catch snook, drumb, sheepshead, whiting and what ever else swims by. I would say you can catch just about any nearshore fish using mud minnows in the surf.
