Today Paula and I headed back down to the intracoastal to check on our crab traps.  We dropped them on Monday in a new spot ( hoping to do better than we have been).  They have been in the water for 4 days and today seemed like a good day to go.  There were more boats on the water then I expected, with it being black friday and all.  One guy we saw said the his wife was shopping till she drops, and he was using that time to go fishing!  I like the way he thinks.

Todays results:
1 fish
7 stone crabs
5 claws

two of the crabs were too small, so they went back.  hope to see them next year.
the other 5 crabs were all in the same trap.  now if we can start getting these results in more of the traps.

we moved the traps around  and will be back to check next week
