I wondered if anyone needed any help with storm damage or debris. The power to my neighborhood went out around 5:30pm yesterday evening and didn't come back on until sometime around 4:30am this morning. A tree fell and took out the power lines feeding my entire neighborhood. Other than that, we are fine. My preacher had a tree fall on his house in Edgewater and punctured a hole in his roof. As often as I can, BUT not as much as I'd LIKE to!!!!

My generator is maintained and ready to take over the power if need be. I cannot lose all my shrimp in the freezer! This bad weather blows but I have been able to work on the site for several days and clean it up and make the tweaks I wanted to do as well as do sponsor ads etc... I need rain days to get work done on the site! But, I do not want anyone to get hurt or sustain damage so I can get things done I got chain saw ready.... Crap down all over the place and even traffic lights blown off the lines. The biggest loss for me so far is the wife's new garden. We needed the rain bad but man I had gust to 70 miles an hour and laid down every new green thing in the garden including all the big sun flowers that were about to bloom. Lakes ponds and frogs and water lizards should be happy for a while now and bye bye fire season!! All this fresh water may help the shrimps get going after the weather clears if the water is not to dirty.. ... This photo is from Edgewater Today on chanel 13... Capt's Pet Posts: 426 03/31/11 12:51 PM - 15 Limits 2011	Wow....we are trying to pack up this place at Lopez...yesterday we had winds probably 70 miles an hour...with tons of rain...then this am Danny had a drs appt. in Orlando so I stayed here to pack...He left duing the really hard rain but made it to his dr. ok..He hasn't returned yet but hope he will soon be on his way back to OakHill... I have not been able to put anything in the trailer but have it "stacked" in the living area...will put it in the trailer when the weather clears up tonight ...Hope everyone is ok...boats too...we were sure glad we had gotten ours out of the water on Sat. and over to our daughters barn in Orlando...What a storm yesterday and today..does remind me of hurricane season...I just hope y'all don't have any hurricanes this year...The good thing is it has sure helped the fires here in Central Fl.... Stay safe everyone!

He said Maytown took a wind beating and Oak Hill looked pretty good. His boat was fine and my boat was fine. He even checked on my lift landlords who have a very sick person there who is on O2 machines.

On I-95 I saw a semi blown over, tree limbs blowing across I-95 being chased by construction barrels. A couple times it felt like the wind blew so hard, my truck moved sideways. I got off at Scottsmore and finished the drive to NSB down hwy-1. Lots and lots of limbs and debris all the way home and several traffic lights were out. Glad it's about over... << There Is a Reason >>
