Dixie Crossroads ran a fundraiser for the Perez family (Troy Perez - Long time charter Capt.) as his wife suffers from cancer. Edgar Hansen of the Northwestern spoke for 2 hours mostly question and answer format. He was hiliariously funny and interesting. He covered a lot of 'insider' stuff you always wonder about the industry. As well as stuff that would shock you about what commercial fisherman have to endure. Also how much time, energy and money the camera crews actually 'cost' their business while being on board. Fantastic interview. Amazing guy! Great cause! God bless Christine and Troy Perez. I am also hooked on Swordfish: Life On The Line. Edgar last season wants to quit crabbing. His back is screwed up, he physically cannot handle the work and wants to be a Dad at home. He has hit burn out. He is a little thing. The Time Bandit crew, are best friends with Amy and Matt Roloff [Little People Big World] and came out to their golf charity. That one photo looks like the manatee is giving him a cheeky lil smack! I love that show it is a rough and tumble world to watch. Makes me appreciate the fare which is abundant here, and so easily accesible for a fresh meal. If life is measured by family and friends, I am the wealthiest woman in the world!
