Oak Hill was a long season and very abundant this winter, spring, and summer!   Any of you white (meaning the shrimp) shrimpers know how these seasons typically are?  And given how untypical this whole year is can anybody speculate as to the durationof this season?  O me o my  wishiniwasfishin   what says you as this has in the past been something in your expertise.  How bout some of you local guys that are doing it, what is the chatter?  Would it be possible to save a few quarts of the whities for a peel and eat picnic n fun day?  Some time after Labor Day and before Halloween?  Climes would have improved by then so location could be chosen for best opportunities according to whether and where shrimp are running.  The technique would still be casting for shrimp.  Daytona vs Oak Hill Shrimp Smackdown!!!
