I have had something very nice happen and I wanted to share. I know when my wife broke her hip the forum was very supportive. She is now doing well and walking with a cane. That, however, is not my new news.
A very good friend has invited me to get involved with his new project. We are going to design, build and test a new airplane. I had to promise my wife I would neither fly or ride in it, but I think she was just stressed out from the broken hip.
It will be a short range cargo carrier designed to use short poorly maintained runways. It is on paper and a model is being prepared for the wind tunnel. It will be a long process at best.
Words can't express how happy this makes me this late in my life. It will be the fourth plane and a gyro-copter that I have built or help build.
