They stayed at the same place Capt Lee and friends will be staying next week. They limited out each trip and found them in 4-5 ft of water. Just thought I would let you gals and guys know. I keep hearing "Hagan's Cove", and whelp, that is where we are heading towards or a little South of... Our rooms are only $69 + $10 in taxes a night and we get a boat slip. So I think we will be shucking our scallops on the dock. I am hoping the booty rich grounds are closer and we do not have to motor out so far. I was telling Mike, I got a 2 way walkie talkie marine radio with NOAA weather. No phone reception was a real wake up call, and if my boat dies I have no way to get help. Take along some eau de deet strong enough to handle the biting black flies as sometimes they get very annoysome up there. Sure wish I could join y'all this time around, but gotta catch it later! I wub' you!...I am all set Babe, got a spare radio battery, bringing extra gas on board...got my trailer bearings packed.... Just us girls are going to do a man's job Party of 4 heading to the Gulf. The girls will follow behind me in their truck. We are going to leave Deltona about 6:30am, arrive in Perry about 9:30am. It is 160 miles. We are staying at Keaton Marina. DragonFly [Sandy], SwampAngel [Tonya] and their young man [Austin] I have next to zero phone reception up there on Sprint Network. We are going to take our time, not kill ourselves...I will be marking GPS points of where we find success, and will pass them on here. We will return back late afternoon Thurs.
