Doozie shrimp Haulover with husband Lou--Now that you made your one post, you can read all areas of the site. I will email her and let her come introduce herself to you, she is our go to gal for that area.

Thanks onegOOdwitch for the welcome and the info :) I think hubs still
has a taste in his mouth from hauling that big pontoon from MN to FL last fall. I
can't blame him, that was a hellova trip. I really don't feel like
dragging it to the coast either at this point. Buying a boat for the
job is looking better and better. Besides, who doesn't need (want, lol)
another boat??
Scalloping sounds fun too! There's a lot for us northerners to learn ;-) Here's a snap before hubs left for FL with the pontoon.... (we lowered the top though) ![]() |

@CaptLee Thanks so much for all the info! I have my eye on a few boats for sale and I think I was right on target from what you posted, whew. You're right about the end of summer sales, sigh, I may have to wait.
I guess we got into this at the wrong time of year. Oh well, more to look forward to and winter comes up quick. As for lights you know I want the greenies so I will wait to get those too instead of wasting our energy with the starfires ![]() I just had the question asked of me "wanna go crabbin?" lol I guess we're going to drive over give it a try tonight. One guy did well last weekend when we were there marg |

Mercy! That is a country club on wheels! I bet when you dress her out, she is a floating island! Definately a wonderful way to enjoy Florida! But, I do understand how large this party boat 'tis....it would make a great shrimping and scalloping vessel but........
I agree who wants to tow that often...but, maybe you will decide to slip it at a marina, then you don't have to tow... You fit in just fine here! There is so much to do here, and so much fun on the water... It just comes down to what do you like to do? Then match the boat to that. You see the gold star I put on your forehead? Your already uploading pics here..we folks here who have not figured that part out yet. ![]() |

Depending.........
The avatar can take 3 to 4 days to appear. Yuku stores them on an avatar server, and millions of people change them a day, so the system bogs down. I promise it will appear if you did it correctly ![]() ![]() |

Thanks CaptLee! Good thing we haven't seen the sun or I'd have that gold star tan line on my forehead! ;-)
I love love my pontoon but I think she'll find a dock in Mount Dora, I'll get something else for the salt. My search is narrowing for the type that will fit us best, just not sure I can wait for the end o' summer sales, lol |
