Im getting hungry looking at these 'JOWELS' (a.k.a. cheeky neck meat that forms filet mignon style medallions). OMG.... Those jowels are like roasts...... they are so big.

Let me get this right. Gator in water, you in boat. You take very big, very upset gator and put in the boat with you. What did you use a 6 or 12 pack? Because I would be trying to walk on water.

That's a category of harvest I have not yet attempted from on or in the water. Sounds like a blast I tried to get out with a friend a couple years back and Had to go back to work in August that year so missed it. I look forward to a pic of your beast. Better the rail than an arm or leg!

Got a 10 ft 6 in Gator about 2 am this morning
Do not know how to add a picture of it
Fun morning Gator broke the rubber rail on the side of
the boat He just did not want to come in the and decided
to bite and break off the bracket that holds the trim. Terry

No need to Thank me ! It is all because Of Capt. Lee's hard work that all this is happening.
I was too tired to go to the Mininar , really wanted to find out more about Castnetting Shrimp
but I had been out two nights in a row Gator Hunting with out success but now that the
Barometer is up gators are more active . We are going again tonight and hope for a Big One.
We got a 8.5 foot Gator Sunday night.
Glad everyone had a good time and learned about daytime shrimping ! Terry

Dearest Harley!

We cheered you, applauded you and saluted you at the feast part of the mini after we got off the water. Your generosity and donation covered the costs to put on this event. To me there is nothing more precious then bringing people together.

This 30+ person little "mini" seminar allowed us to introduce people to the sport of cast net shrimping & the bonds of this club. Thank-you for covering our costs of pulling a permit, misc stuff for the event & the annoying $50 deposit so we could share and feast.

Folks were hoping you would come so they could shake your hand. I told them I would set up a thread so they could thank you personally.

From the bottom of my heart Harley, THANK-YOU for supporting this site so that we can continue to enrich others in the sport of shrimping. This club will always remain free for folks to enjoy. I wish you could...
