I met your brother at the mini we did at Riverfront on Saturday.  We are nuts over this cast net shrimping and crazier during the winter chasing the Oak Hill and Edgewater shrimp.

We hope to pass on some great info this season and welcome any tips and tricks with the summer hunt. Do you monitor sonar when you hunt in Daytona/Ormond?

What do you look for on sonar?

We are hardcore shrimpers for sure. We dip in the winter and we cast net in the summer. We also sneak in some scalloping trips about 3 hours NW of Volusia County.

Right now we are into cast netting shrimp in Daytona, you have full access now, so you can go in and read all the reports which will give you all the intel you need.

On Sept 4th we are doing a cast net seminar, launching our boats at Riverfront Ramp then coming back on land for a shrimp boil, meet and greet and exchange some more intel!

Hang with us, and we will keep you in the know with the who, what and where of shrimping.

We do not have any St. John reports...ours is all S. Daytona intercoastal....ya just float your boat in the tide and follow the troops down the river.

I told you so Capt. Lee.  It's not just me.  The only good thing with me is God gave me a pretty high tolerance level.  That's one of the reasons I teach.  It takes a special type of personality to deal with the public school system.  It also takes alot of tolerance to deal with some of the yahoos at the free public piers.
